Grateful to be here among you. My username of buibui means “spider” in Kiswahili, a language I learned to speak (inexpertly) when I had the honor of living and working in the Usambara mountains of Tanzania. I like the idea of spiders spinning webs as an analogy to artists creating and I like that the username image commemorates time I spent among beautiful people and environments.
